Following the successful delivery of 1 Bligh Street in Sydney, Enfold were delighted to be engaged again by well renowned law firm, Holman Fenwick Willan, to carry out the design and construction of a second high-end fit-out of their Melbourne offices. The works carried out included a full floor fit-out for the client, complete refurbishment works to the lift lobby and bathrooms, as well as a neighbouring speculative fit-out for AMP.
The Enfold designers worked closely with the client from start to finish, striking out a clear strategy for the design, drawing upon the limitations of the existing offices and desires for the new space. A lack of client meeting areas, underutilised space and oversized offices within the existing floorplan was key to mapping out the new vision for the design. Flexibility to the front of house area was central in providing the capacity for HFW to host seminars and events by way of operable walls.
Features of the sophisticated finishes included a stunning Christopher Boots prometheus crystal chrome pendant placed above reception, tying in subtly with the 1 Bligh Street design. Custom seating and an island bench opened the breakout area, maximising on natural light and a panoramic Melbourne city backdrop.
